Renaissance led the European PR campaign for Funcom’s biggest ever IP, the survival MMORPG Dune Awakening, which is linked to the current Dune movie franchise/trilogy. From its announcement through to launch on PC, the work covered a 3-year period & was also in conjunction with local agency partners in both Spain & Italy.

Throughout the campaign Renaissance supported at numerous live events including The Game Awards, Summer GameFest & Gamescom along with other events, such as a bespoke hands-on at Funcom’s Olso studio & a dedicated film screening of Dune: Part 2 in LA.

Campaign coverage since the games announcement saw a total of 3257 articles with a combined reach of 40 billion UVPM. The launch announcement achieved 389 articles with a reach of 4.3 billion & 53 reviews within the first seven days.

Highlights included IGN UK (117.4), Sapo TEK (56.3m), PCGamesN (13.5m), Areajugones (65.1m), TGcom24.it (39.6m) & PC Gamer UK (24.6m) to name just a few.
